Delica 4 • CPM SPY27

One of the original clip-carried lightweight folding knives, the Delica® 4 is one of Spyderco’s most popular and iconic models. This remarkable expression of it elevates the design with our proprietary CPM® SPY27® blade steel. Developed in close cooperation with Crucible® Industries, this state-of-the-art powder metallurgy steel supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium. The resulting material offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade of this Delica 4 takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue—one of the signature handle colors of Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family of knives. The handle also houses the knife’s sturdy back lock mechanism and a four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
