The Dragonfly™ is a remarkably refined folding knife design that balances compact size with full-service cutting performance. Its unique handle shape and textured index-finger choil comfortably accommodate all hand sizes for a secure, non-slip, four-finger grip. The Dragonfly 2 refines the design even further by expressing it with an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. The ultra-lightweight, one-piece handle includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for discreet tip-up carry on either side of the body. For steel aficionados in quest of extreme edge retention, we have enhanced this model with a full-flat-ground blade crafted from Böhler-Uddeholm’s K390 MICROCLEAN® tool steel. Available with either a leaf-shaped profile or a straight-edged Wharncliffe profile, these elite expressions of the Dragonfly 2 also boast a distinctive blue handle color that is a signature of Spyderco’s K390 family of knives.
